How in the world has it been 3 months?
Here are some of the high/low lights of the past 3 months in my life:
- I had my birthday! I had a wonderful dinner with friends and vowed to have the best year ever.
- Lady Di moved out and I now have the house to myself-- movin' on up from the basement, right?
- I quit my job. More on that later.
- I survived (just barely) my first marriage-less wedding anniversary. Yikes!
- My family has been cursed with a string of losses. We're up to 4 now, I think. Here's hoping for a little break.
- PC has a girlfriend. In keeping with the fairy tale theme, I choose to picture her with warts on her nose and a greenish tint to her complexion. Barf.
Now that we're all caught up... Happy birthday to my mom today! I have always known that I had great parents and a wonderful family overall. After being with PC and hearing more about his family, I realized what a difference a supportive family can make in your life. Since going through this mess, I realize that I am wildly blessed with the best parents and sister I could ever want. I'm not sure that any of them will ever see this blog but I hope that they already know that I think the world of them.
